Post of the Day
"What I think Sherman was trying to do by not calling timeout, was to put pressure on the Carolina offense. Eventhough, they were well within field goal range, I think by not using timeouts he was trying to hurry up the Carolina offense, or by not using timeouts, give Carolina a chance to regroup and plan out a strategy or call the ideal play. By having the clock dwindle down, it put Carolina in more of a time crunch and reduced their options, made them hurry a little more, and added to the overall pressure of the situation. I think that was what Sherman was doing, but I'm not sure. "
