Packers injury update

Wells out indefinitely; Jennings sprains shoulder; Cole ready to return

C Scott Wells suffered a fractured eye orbit in the loss to the Bears on Sunday night and likely will be sidelined until after the team's bye in Week 7. Wells was poked in the eye late in the third quarter and didn't return. Jason Spitz replaced him for the rest of the game and is slated to make the start Sunday against the Redskins.

-- WR Greg Jennings suffered a sprained shoulder Sunday. Coach Mike McCarthy didn't consider the injury to be serious, though he probably will hold Jennings out until late in the practice week.

-- RB DeShawn Wynn finished the game Sunday despite missing most of the first half after becoming dehydrated in the game-opening series. Wynn required intravenous fluids in the locker room before returning for the start of the second half.

-- RB Brandon Jackson will try to do more in practice this week after missing the last two games because of a strained shin.

-- DT Colin Cole should be good to return for a full practice load this week and play this weekend. He was deactivated Sunday night as a precaution after suffering a mild concussion in practice Oct. 3.
