Quarterback returns to Packers

Nall gives team depth behind injured Favre and Rodgers

With Brett Favre recovering from an arm and separated shoulder, the Green Bay Packers added depth to the quarterback position behind Aaron Rodgers by signing Craig Nall today, the team announced.

To make room for Nall on the roster, the Packers released safety Marviel Underwood.

Nall, originally a fifth-round pick by Green Bay in 2002, spent four seasons (2002-05) with the Packers. A 6-foot-3, 230-pound player, he played with the Buffalo Bills in 2006 and was released on Oct. 18 of this season. He also has spent time with the Houston Texans this season.
