Packers-Raiders: Player notes

Injury updates, news on individuals from each team

GREEN BAY PACKERS
-- K Mason Crosby was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for November on Thursday. The rookie led all kickers during the month with 54 points and had a league-high-tying 12 field goals.

-- RT Mark Tauscher, who has a nagging ankle injury, was a full participant in practice Thursday after being limited the previous day. Tauscher has played hurt the last three games, so the chances of him starting Sunday against Oakland are good.

-- OL Junius Coston has taken the bulk of the reps at right guard this week and likely will return to the starting lineup Sunday. Jason Spitz moved over to left guard, where he has handled most of the reps over Daryn Colledge, who struggled in pass protection at the outset of the loss at Dallas on Nov. 29 and was removed from the game in the second quarter.

-- TE Bubba Franks was out of team drills for the second straight day and could be sidelined Sunday because of a lingering knee injury. Franks hasn't played since suffering the injury Oct. 14 against Washington.

-- LB Tracy White hasn't practiced the last two days as he deals with a lingering ankle injury. His status is up in the air for Sunday.

-- DT Johnny Jolly remains on the 53-man roster, though the team could be making a decision soon to put him on injured reserve. Jolly has missed the last two games because of a strained shoulder. Further tests done Tuesday weren't encouraging.

OAKLAND RAIDERS
-- QB Daunte Culpepper did not practice Thursday and is unlikely to start against Green Bay.

-- QB Andrew Walter, No. 4 on the depth chart, has been getting extra work and could be the backup to Josh McCown against the Packers.

-- WR Ronald Curry was given the day off by a coaches decision and is expected to face Green Bay.

-- DE Derrick Burgess was given the day off by a coaches decision and is expected to face Green Bay.

-- S Stuart Schweigert, who saw just one snap with the defense and was replaced in the starting lineup by Hiram Eugene, will see some time against Green Bay, coach Lane Kiffin said.
