Packers-Lions: Player notes

Injury updates, news on individuals from each team

-- WR Greg Jennings didn't practice for a second straight day Thursday and appears likely to be held out of the meaningless regular-season finale against Detroit on Sunday. Jennings, who leads the team with 12 touchdown catches, suffered a mild ankle sprain in the last game. Rookie James Jones would move up to the No. 2 role.

-- DT Ryan Pickett has been limited in practice the past two days but is hopeful of playing Sunday. He took part in team drills on Thursday. The starting nose tackle missed the last game because of a strained groin.

-- QB Aaron Rodgers has been confined to rehab work for the strained hamstring that has made him unavailable the last three games. Rodgers likely will be deactivated again as the No. 3 quarterback Sunday.

-- CB Jarrett Bush is recovering from a strained calf, which had him out of the last two games. Bush has gone through a full practice the last two days and could be in the mix for playing time at nickel back, his role before he was hurt, in a rotation with Will Blackmon, Frank Walker and Tramon Williams.

-- FB Korey Hall has been ruled out for a second straight game. Hall is recovering from a strained hip. John Kuhn will continue to fill the void.

-- MLB Nick Barnett, through his agent, is considering filing a grievance with the league for the actions of umpire Jim Quirk late in the game Sunday at Chicago. Quirk grabbed Barnett by the neck from behind and pulled him to the turf after Barnett was involved in a post-play skirmish. The league isn't taking any disciplinary action against Quirk.

-- RT Damien Woody, who left Sunday's game against Kansas City with a shoulder injury, will start Sunday at Green Bay.

-- LG Edwin Mulitalo practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday after sitting out Sunday's game against Kansas City with a concussion.

-- WR Troy Walters practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday after sitting out Sunday's game against Kansas City with a concussion.

-- RB Kevin Jones still had swelling in his right knee Thursday and doctors won't decide whether to operate on his torn anterior cruciate ligament until it subsides.

-- RB Tatum Bell will be active for the first time since Oct. 21 against Tampa Bay because of Kevin Jones' injury, according to offensive coordinator Mike Martz. He is expected to be behind T.J. Duckett and Aveion Cason.
