The 84-page magazine will have print run of 850,000 copies and will be sold nationally at Barnes & Noble, Borders, Wal-Mart and on Amazon.com, as well locally at retailers in Wisconsin including, Walgreens, Shopko and Roundy's. The special commemorative will be sold at a price of $7.99.
The limited-edition commemorative features an original essay by SI senior writer Peter King, a photo essay by SI photographer John Biever and a look at Favre's career through the pages and images of Sports Illustrated. Favre has appeared on the cover of SI eight times during his career with the Packers. His first cover was the January 15, 1996, issue with the billing, "Bring on the Cowboys."
