A few notes from publisher Bill Huber

Next chat scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday; photos sought for upcoming Packer Report magazine.

Hello, Packers fans!

A few notes for Web site and magazine readers:

— The next of our twice-monthly chats will take place on Monday, back at its usual time of 7 p.m. (Central). This chat is for subscribers only, and it's a great way to ask me about the staff changes, draft prospects or free agency. Click on Forums, and there's a link to the chat room.

I look forward to talking to you. The first three chats provided some great conversation. If you are not a subscriber, give us a test drive with the seven-day free trial or sign up. With the Scouting Combine starting on Feb. 18 (I will be providing live coverage from Indianapolis) and free agency starting on Feb. 27, we are in the heart of the offseason. Powered by the resources of Scout.com, we will be the go-to place as the Packers gear up for a critical offseason.

— For the magazine, I am always looking for photos of Fan-Tastic Packer Backers. Have a photo that proves that you, your kids or your pets are the biggest Packers fan on the block? Do you have a favorite photo of yourself or friends and family in Lambeau Field or tailgating outside? If so, e-mail it to me with details to packwriter2002@yahoo.com, or send it in the mail to Melissa Dill, 2003 Sylvan Drive, Green Bay, WI 54313.

— Speaking of the upcoming magazine, it will be focused on free agency and will include quick-hit capsules on about 220 free agents. Among the other highlights are a look back to what the ultimate free agent, Reggie White, meant to the team; a look at the comparative success of Ron Wolf and Ted Thompson; and a look back at some big-time free agent busts, led by Joe Johnson.

Thanks for reading, and Go Pack Go!
