Hello, Packers fans!
A few notes for Web site and magazine readers:
— The next of our twice-monthly chats will take place on Monday at 7 p.m. Central. This chat is for subscribers only, and it's a great way to ask me about free agency, the draft, the upcoming season or whatever is on your mind. The chat room link is right here. Or, go to Forums and connect to the Chat Room from there.
I look forward to talking to you. If you miss it, I will post a transcript afterward. If you are not a subscriber, give us a test drive with the seven-day free trial or sign up.
Not to toot our own horn (but allow me to toot, anyway), we have been the place to go this offseason. No place else has told you where the Packers scouts have been on a daily basis and what prospects they've been watching. We have introduced you to more legitimate Packers prospects — with first-hand reporting with the players, not shamelessly stolen quotes — than probably every place on the Internet combined.
Plus, we have our every-other-week chats with yours truly, and the opportunity to send questions to our NFL insiders. I know times out there are tough for a lot of you, and I am making it my mission to make your investment worthwhile.
— For the magazine, I am always looking for photos of Fan-Tastic Packer Backers. In fact, we're running out! Have a photo that proves that you, your kids or your pets are the biggest Packers fans on the block? Do you have a favorite photo of yourself or friends and family in Lambeau Field or tailgating outside? If so, e-mail it to me with details to firstname.lastname@example.org, or send it in the mail to Melissa Dill, 2003 Sylvan Drive, Green Bay, WI 54313. And if you've been featured recently and need extra copies, shoot me an e-mail.
— Speaking of the magazine, our latest issue will be out in the next week or so. We will have quick-hit profiles on more than 200 draft prospects, and I have features on six players who could be the Packers' selection at No. 9. Plus, we have a question-and-answer with Boyd Dowler, a look at how the new defense fits former first-round picks A.J. Hawk and Justin Harrell, and a terrific update on John Brockington, who needed a kidney transplant and has made raising awareness of the importance of organ donation a staple in his life.
— And finally, you can find me on Facebook and follow breaking news on Twitter. Find me on Facebook at email@example.com and on Twitter at twitter.com/packerreport.
Thanks for reading, and e-mail me any time.
