Texas A&M defensive tackle Ty Warren may be a possible first round selection by the Green Bay Packers this year, according to one draft expert.<p>

Tony Pauline of has Warren rated as the 29th best player in the draft. The Packers currently own the 29th overall pick of the draft and are in desperate need of a defensive tackle.

Warren recently participated in the Senior Bowl. He was a four-year letterman and was named to a Midseason All-America squad by before a high ankle sprain against Kansas limited his effectiveness the rest of the season. He earned ABC Player of the Game honors against Virginia Tech when he recorded a career-high 12 tackles.

The Packers have six draft picks, plus are expected at least three compensatory picks for free agents that they lost last year.
