The Packers signed linebacker Everick Rawls and return specialist/wide receiver Kenyatta Morgan on Tuesday. Packers coach/GM Mike Sherman then allocated the two to play in NFL Europe this spring.<p>

Rawls (6-foot-1, 235 pounds) will play for the Amsterdam Admirals and Morgan the Scottish Claymores. Green Bay currently has the maximum of 13 players assigned to NFL Europe.

Rawls, 23, had 227 tackles during his three years as a starter for the University of Texas, ranking fourth on the team as a senior in 2001 with 71 stops, 34 of them unassisted. He was undrafted in 2002 and out of football.

Morgan, 25, has played in the Arena Football League for the last four seasons, most recently with the Grand Rapids Rampage. He also played for the Portland Forest Dragons in 1999, moving on to the Oklahoma Wranglers in 2000 and the Buffalo Destroyers in 2001 before joining the Rampage last season.

A two-time, second-team All-Big Sky Conference selection as a return specialist/wide receiver at Montana State, Morgan (5-8, 166 pounds) was second on the team in receptions (32) and yards (498) as a senior and also averaged 24.9 yards for 12 kickoff returns, including a 91-yard scoring runback against Cal State.
