Packers Fan Fest Kicks Off Friday

Star players such as Donald Driver and Nick Collins, Packers legends like Bart Starr and Ron Wolf, and 'Football 101' sessions with the coaches highlight the schedule. Tickets are available.

Legends of past and present and informative and entertaining "Football 101" sessions highlight the sixth annual Packers Fan Fest, Friday and Saturday in the Lambeau Field Atrium.

Friday's kickoff event includes interviews with Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy, as well as the unveiling of the team's third jersey to be used this season and the naming of the 12th member of the Fan Hall of Fame. Packers coaches will meet fans at the end of the evening.

Saturday will feature informative "101" programs that present different segments of the game. Defensive coordinator Dom Capers will lead a "Defense 101" presentation to discuss the team's 3-4 defense. Offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, special teams coordinator Shawn Slocum and strength and conditioning coordinator Mark Lovat will lead "101" sessions on their respective areas. Other "101" sessions will feature assistant athletic trainer Kurt Fielding, assistant equipment manager Bryan Nehring and a member of the team's personnel staff to discuss college scouting.

Friday's event runs from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday's sessions goes from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Also in attendance will be current players Allen Barbre, Atari Bigby, Desmond Bishop, Nick Collins, Donald Driver, Breno Giacomini, Brett Goode, Korey Hall, Brandon Jackson, Cullen Jenkins, Brad Jones, James Jones, John Kuhn, T.J. Lang, Jordy Nelson, Ryan Pickett, Josh Sitton and Brandon Underwood.

Plus, Packers alumni include Don Beebe, Edgar Bennett, Robert Brooks, Mark Chmura, Carroll Dale, Lynn Dickey, Boyd Dowler, Marv Fleming, Antonio Freeman, Bob Harlan, Sean Jones, Greg Koch, James Lofton, Don Majkowski, Craig Newsome, Dave Robinson, Bart Starr, Jan Stenerud, Aaron Taylor, Frank Winters and Ron Wolf.

Tickets are $85 and are good for both days of the event. Children ages 5 and younger are free with a ticketed adult. Parking is free.

Among the highlights are autograph sessions, question-and-answer periods with selected Packers, a tour of the Packers' locker room, a Lambeau Field viewing opportunity, raffle prizes and the Packers' "Garage Sale." Plus, for children ages 6 to 14, will be the Fan Fest Kids Camp in the Hutson Center from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The ticket includes admission to the Packers Hall of Fame during Fan Fest as well as on Sunday, March 14.
