Holmgren, Peyton Highlight Slate

The Packers' preseason schedule includes home games against Mike Holmgren's Cleveland Browns and Peyton Mannng's Indianapolis Colts. ESPN will air the game against the Colts, who are the reigning AFC champions.

A nationally televised home game against the Indianapolis Colts highlights the Green Bay Packers' preseason schedule.

The Packers and Colts will square off on ESPN on Thursday, Aug. 26, with kickoff at 7 p.m. Dates and times for the other three preseason games will be determined.

Game 1: Aug. 12-16 — Home vs. Cleveland (state TV network).

Game 2: Aug. 19-23 — At Seattle (state TV network).

Game 3: Thursday, Aug. 26 — Home vs. Indianapolis (ESPN).

Game 4: Sept. 2-3 — At Kansas City (state TV network).

Cleveland is led by a familiar face: new general manager Mike Holmgren. The Browns visited Green Bay in last year's preseason opener, with the Packers winning 17-0. The game will be the 61st Upper Midwest Shrine Game, which has raised more than $3.1 million for the Midwest Shrine's burn centers and hospitals for crippled children. Green Bay has won five of the last six and nine of the last 11 in the Shrine series.

The Seahawks are led by new coach Pete Carroll and new general manager John Schneider, who spent a dozen years in the Packers' front office.

The Indianapolis game marks the 50th annual Bishop's Charities Game, a charitable contest initiated in 1961 by Vince Lombardi and the Diocese of Green Bay that has raised more than $3.4 million.

In a departure, the Packers close the preseason with someone other than Tennessee. The Packers and Titans squared off in the preseason finale in each of the last eight years.
