Gross possible number one pick for the Panthers

Gross would do a nice job with the Panthers and would most likely start as a rookie. He would help open up holes for Stephan Davis and product which every quarterback starts for the Panthers.

OT Jordan Gross, 6-5 306, Utah – Gross is a three-year starter who was an All-Conference selection this season. He has the ability to play both guard and tackle positions.  He is very athletic prospect who does a good job in pass protection, bends his knees and plays with leverage.  He does a good job using his hands and uses blocking angles for body positioning to wall off defenders.  Does a nice job staying keeping opponents in front of him.  He has the ability to kick out or pull across the line of scrimmage.  He is patient and has a good football IQ.  He is not dominant at the point of attack, and doesn't drive defenders off the line of scrimmage.  It looks like he might not have much room to grow and has reached his potential. But he will have the ability to come in a start as a rookie.

Fit with the Panthers: Gross would do a nice job with the Panthers and would most likely start as a rookie.  He would help open up holes for Stephan Davis and product which every quarterback starts for the Panthers. He is worth the # 9 pick in the draft but won't get the fans excited.
