Notes

  • Last week, the Panthers started undrafted rookie Andrew Norwell at left guard for his first NFL start. It will be tackle David Foucault's turn as the next undrafted rookie to start on the Panthers offensive line this year. He will be stepping in for Byron Bell, who has been ruled out for Thursday night.
  • According to this tweet by Associated Press' Steve Reed, if Thomas DeCoud is not able to go tomorrow night, fourth round rookie Tre Boston will get the start. If the rookie does start, he should expect a busy night as Saints' Drew Brees will look to challenge him.
