- .The Panthers welcomed back five players to practice on Thursday with Nate Chandler, Jerricho Cotchery, Roman Harper, Kawann Short participating in full practice. Cornerback Melvin White was the fifth player back but was a limited participant due to his knee injury. If White is not able to go I would expect Antoine Cason to be back in the starting line-up opposite Josh Norman.
- The offensive line got a boost with Nate Chandler back at practice and will need him on Sunday. The depth at tackle is not great for Carolina and if he is not able to go expect Chris Scott to get the start. Scott was only signed a few weeks ago after being cut at the start of the season.
- Once again the Panthers running backs are dealing with injuries with DeAngelo Williams missing the last two practices with a foot injury and Jonathan Stewart being limited due to an ankle injury. This offense is going to need an effective Stewart to control the clock and give them a chance to win against Atlanta.
