- The Panthers only had five players missing from practice on Wednesday, two of whom sat out the game againt Minnesota. Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has missed the past three weeks with an ankle injury suffered against the Saints. Amini Silatolu was thought of as a possible replacement at right tackle for Nate Chandler but his knee flared up last week and forced him to miss the game. It also looks like he missed his opportunity at right tackle with Mike Remmers have a strong game.
- It is no surprise to see DeAngelo Williams on the injury report, who suffered a fractured finger against the Vikings. Now that the Panthers playoff chances are not good, it is hard to imagine a reason to put Williams on the field on Sundays with the injury he has.
