Notes

  • Cornerback Carrington Byndom was a full participant in practice on Friday after missing Thursday's practice due to an illness. Tight end Greg Olsen also went through his first full practice of the week and both players should be safe bets to be available Sunday. Olsen has been dealing with a number of injuries for a few weeks now and has continued to produce at a high level.
  • Cam Newton and Amini Silatolu are the only two players already ruled out for Sunday, which is really not a surprise for either player. Running back DeAngelo Williams is questionable after being a limited participant Thursday and Friday however it would be a surprise if he plays this week. He has been dealing with the fracture in his hand and there isn't much benefit to have him on the field. Jonathan Stewart has been playing well and can handle the duties for another week.
