Notes

  • It looks like all signs point to running back DeAngelo Williams returning on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, as he went through full practices all week. The only question is going to be what role he will have in the offense. Jonathan Stewart has been playing very well and Ron Rivera will have a tough decision to make on how to balance the workload between the two backs.
  • There isn't as much optimism surrounding linebacker A.J. Klein's chances of playing on Sunday though. The ankle injury that forced him to miss last week's game against the Cleveland Browns continues to cause him problems. He was limited in practice all this week and if he is not able to play linebacker Adraius Glanton should get the start in his place.
