Panthers to Play Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day

The Carolina Panthers will play their first game on Thanksgiving this upcoming season and will most likely do so against a familiar face.

According to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, the Carolina Panthers are expected to play against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The game will be during the day with reports that the Packers will face the Bears in primetime on Thanksgiving Day.

This is the first time in franchise history that the Panthers will play on the holiday and more than likely will have to play against Greg Hardy. If the two teams faced off early in the season there was a chance that Hardy would miss that game due to a possible suspension.

The Panthers have not had much success against the Cowboys in their franchise history with a record of 3-9. The team has lost their last five meetings and nine out of the last 10.
