- It was a much healthier practice for the Carolina Panthers on Thursday with the return of Roman Harper, Kyle Love, Jonathan Stewart and Trai Turner. None of these guys had any serious injuries that forced them out of practice on Wednesday but rather it was just to try and keep these players fresh.
- That isn’t to say the Panthers don’t have players who are dealing with injuries that could keep them out of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Jerricho Cotchery is battling a high ankle sprain suffered against the Houston Texans and has missed the last two practices. At this point it would be surprising to see him out there Sunday.
- Another player who might be a longshot is middle linebacker Luke Kuechly, who is still in the concussion protocol. He has participated in some positional drills the past two days but has not been fully cleared yet. The team hopefully will get him back Sunday but he will need to clear all the steps prior to then.
