Notes

  • There wasn't a whole lot of change from the injury report yesterday for the Carolina Panthers. The only difference was that guard/tackle Amini Silatolu went from being a full participant on Wednesday to limited on Thursday. This is certainly a concern as Silatolu is supposed to be the primary back up at both tackle positions. If Silatolu is not able to go, the Panthers will have to make a roster move to most likely bring David Foucalt up from the practice squad.
  • It also doesn't look likely that the team is going to have defensive end Jared Allen for this week as he continues to battle a back injury. Allen has only missed four games in his 12-year career. While this game is important, having Allen healthy for the stretch run is more important. After missing the last two practices, I would be surprised to see him on the field Sunday.
