- The Carolina Panthers had two players sit out today's practice due to injury. Left guard Andrew Norwell once again missed due to a hamstring injury suffered early against the Indianapolis Colts two weeks ago. This was his fourth straight practice that he has missed since the injury and at this point, it probably would be a surprise to see him playing on Sunday. The other player who missed today's practice was Luke Kuechly, who tweaked his ankle late against the Packers. He was able to finish the game so the injury isn't considered too serious and it shouldn't force him to miss the upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans
- The team also gave a number of their veterans the day off according to Charlotte Observer's Joe Person.
- Defensive tackle Dwan Edwards has missed the past three games due to an ankle injury but could be getting closer to returning as he was on the practice field Wednesday in a limited capacity. He was a limited participant last Wednesday too before missing practice on Thursday and Friday so it will be worth watching whether he participates tomorrow.
