  • The Carolina Panthers had two players sit out with veteran days (Jared Allen and Charles Tillman) which has to be in an effort to keep these guys healthy and rested for the entire season. As the season goes on, it would not be surprising to see a few more players given veteran days on Wednesday.
  • Left guard Andrew Norwell practiced for the first time in two weeks, although it was in a limited capacity. It is going to be interesting to see whether or not he is able to work his way up to being a full participant by the end of the week. However, the team may err on the side of caution, as they have done all year, and give Norwell one more week to rest.
  • Defensive tackle Dwan Edwards also was a limited participant but he is one player who has a better chance of playing this week. He has been dealing with an ankle injury for a few weeks now but was able to practice all week in a limited capacity.
  • One interesting name on this list was Fozzy Whittaker, who was limited by a hip injury today. For the first time this year, Whittaker didn't see any snaps at running back and played primarily on special teams on Sunday. If this is a serious injury, the Panthers could turn to Cameron Artis-Payne who has been inactive the past few games.
