- The Carolina Panthers for the second consecutive game will be without starting cornerback Charles Tillman who is dealing with an ankle injury. This means that Bene Benwikere will slide to the outside and Colin Jones will step in as the team's nickelback. Last week, Jones struggled a bit, giving up a long touchdown reception to DeSean Jackson and the Cowboys could look to target him in the passing game.
- The team will also have rookie Devin Funchess starting his second consecutive game in place of Philly Brown, who suffered a shoulder injury a week ago today in practice. Funchess played well last week with four receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. If the Panthers find themselves in a shoot out, he could see a ton of targets down the stretch. The team also activated Brenton Bersin this week, as they did last week, over Kevin Norwood.
- It appears that J.J. Jansen is good to go today after suffering headaches on Tuesday. The Panthers signed long snapper Danny Aiken this week just in case Jansen couldn't go but Aiken is inactive for today's game.
- The team also have Ryan Delaire inactive today with Charles Johnson returning from the injured reserve. The Panthers will have four pass rushers today to rotate that will try to get pressure on Tony Romo. This is a little surprising as the team talked about trying to limit Johnson's snaps in his first game back. This is a week that Mario Addison could see a few more snaps than usual.
