  • The big news from the Carolina Panthers' practice on Wednesday was the fact that Charles Tillman was back on the practice field as a full participant for the first time since Week 10. Ron Rivera said during his press conference on Wednesday that he would have like to give Tillman one more week however the injury to Bene Benwikere changed the plan.
  • If Tillman is not able to go, the team will have some options at cornerback. This was the first practice for recently signed Robert McClain who last year played for the Atlanta Falcons. McClain was a seventh round pick for the Panthers and last played for them in 2011.
  • The bad news though is the fact that Jonathan Stewart will be out for Sunday's game against the Giants. This should open up an opportunity for a rookie running back on the Panthers who has struggled to be on the active roster.
  • Tight end Greg Olsen also sat out of Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury suffered against the Falcons at the end of the first half. He sat out the entire second half and it appears that the team is going to be cautious with their star tight end. If he is not able to get back on the practice field Thursday, it should have a major impact on his chances of playing Sunday.
