Carolina Panthers Have 10 Players Selected to the Pro Bowl

On Tuesday night, the NFL announced the players who had been selected for the Pro Bowl. It was a busy night for the Carolina Panthers as they had a league high 10 players selected to the game.

The Carolina Panthers have the best record in the NFL and on Tuesday night made their case for the best team in the NFL with a league high 10 players selected to the Pro Bowl. Below is a list of the players who were selected from the Panthers:

The Pro Bowl selections are a combined vote of fan's voting, along with players and coaches with each group accounting for a third of the vote. The final results of the fan voting was announced last week and the Panthers' had 12 players finish in the top 2 at their position.

There was three players on the Panthers who finished in the top of fan voting, who did not make the final roster. This included Kurt ColemanJoe Webb and Michael Oher however Jonathan Stewart was not in the Top 2 but earned his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Stewart was actually one of five Panthers' who earned their first Pro Bowl appearance. This group includes Kawann ShortThomas DavisTrai Turner and Josh Norman.

There was 86 total players selected to the Pro Bowl and this group will now be divided into two teams during a Pro Bowl Draft on January 27th by the team's two captains, Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice. The Panthers are hoping though that they won't be available to be drafted because that will mean the Panthers' will have made it to the Super Bowl.
