- It looks like the Carolina Panthers may be without their starting running back for a second consecutive game after Jonathan Stewart sat out practice on Wednesday. The coaching staff should feel a little more comfortable with the idea of not having Stewart available after rookie Cameron Artis-Payne had a strong game against the NY Giants.
- The only other player who sat out was linebacker David Mayo, who also missed last week's game due to injury.
- The biggest positive from the injury report though is the fact that Charles Tillman was not on the injury report. The Panthers' cornerback missed the previous four games due to a knee injury and played every snap against the Giants.
