Carolina Panthers' Josh Norman Fined Over 26,000 For His Actions Against NY Giants

Odell Beckham Jr. wasn't the only one who was punished by the NFL for actions Sunday in the game between the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants. Cornerback Josh Norman was fined over $26,000 for his role Sunday.

Cornerback Josh Norman was not able to avoid punishment for his actions against Odell Beckham Jr. and the NY Giants. USA Today's Jarrett Bell reported on Wednesday that Norman would be fined $8,631 for a facemask and $17,636 for striking in the head/neck injury for a total fine of $26,044.

He was able to avoid the one game suspension that Beckham Jr. was given by the NFL but it is clear that the league believes that Norman holds some accountability for what happened. This is certainly not Norman's viewpoint and he has already started the appeal process to the fine, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The NFL is trying their best to address this and hopefully this will not carry over into each player's next game or the next time these two stars line up across from one another.
