- Similar to Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers continue to give a number of veterans time to rest up for the Super Bowl. Charles Johnson, Ryan Kalil and the team's stable of running backs (Jonathan Stewart, Mike Tolbert and Fozzy Whittaker) did not practice for the second straight day. It has been a long season for this team and the coaching staff is doing their best to keep them fresh.
- Cornerback Robert McClain was limited on Wednesday but was a full participant on Thursday. The veteran has been thrusted into the starting role after Charles Tillman suffered a season-ending knee injury. He has done a good job so far this postseason and will have a tall task going up against the Broncos' wide receivers.
