  • The Carolina Panthers had three players sit out all three practices this week. Linebacker Thomas Davis is recovering from surgery on Monday for a broken forearm suffered against the Arizona Cardinals. • Fozzy WhittakerCharles Johnson and Ryan Kalil also missed most of this week of practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. However, all three did return on Friday but on a limited basis. The Panthers also listed these three players as questionable. Defensive tackle Kawann Short was also listed as questionable but he was limited participant all three days of practice.
  • Defensive tackle Dwan Edwards missed practice on Thursday but returned on Friday and is listed as probable. The other two players listed on the injury report, Robert McClain and Philly Brown, are also listed as probable.
  • Even though the Panthers had seven players questionable, Ron Rivera didn't sound too concerned about any players availablilty for next week during his press conference yesterday. He said this week that the focus was implementing the game plan for Denver.
