Carolina Panthers 2016 Schedule Released by NFL

The Carolina Panthers now know the schedule they must go through if they want to make a return trip to the Super Bowl, including opening the 2016 season against the Denver Broncos.

The Carolina Panthers will open the 2016 season against the last team they played, the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. This actually the first game of the entire NFL season as the two teams will face off in Denver on Thursday, September 8th.

The Panthers will then wait 10 days until their next game but will play their first game in Bank of America Stadium, when they face off against the San Francisco 49ers and their new head coach Chip Kelly.

The team will then have three straight divisional games leading up to their bye week in Week 7.

However, after the bye week is when the schedule really picks up for the defending NFC Champions. The team will face the Arizona Cardinals at home, which is rematch of the NFC Conference Championship game. They will then travel to the West Coast in three of the next five weeks.

They play their first game ever in Los Angeles against the Rams and after home games against the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints, the Panthers have back to back road games against the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks.

They close out the regular season with back to back divisional games at home against the Atlanta Falcons and on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
