Charlotte.com is reporting that Panthers Quarterback Jake Delhomme returned to the practice field today, took some snaps and made some throws. Delhomme hasn't practiced with the team in nearly three weeks after injuring his thumb in a 24-27 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles on December 4th.
Delhomme's practicing could indicate that he will start this week in the regular season finale against the New Orleans Saints. If the Panthers win, the Giants lose and the Packers lose, the Panthers will secure the sixth and final seed in the NFC playoff picture.
