BenJarvus Green-Ellis -- 17 carries for 112 yards and two scores. First 100-yard game of the year for Patriots. Green-Ellis was 4 for 4 yards in the first half. His running sealed the game in the final New England drive.
Patriots second half defense – Despite giving up 11 points in the second half, the defense held Randy Moss to just one catch for 8 yards and Adrian Petersen to just 7 carries for 24 yards.
Patriots offensive line -- No Sacks on Tom Brady. Good run-blocking in second half to keep the chains moving.
Ben-Jarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead were instrumental in salting away a 1st-half lead. Green-Ellis finished with 117 yards and 2 TD's on only 17 carries, while Woodhead was continually a nuisance in the running and passing game. Woodhead's third-down pickup to keep the last Patriots TD drive going was a thing of beauty.
Offensive Line & Alge Crumpler
The running-backs couldn't do it by themselves. Alge, Matt Light, and the rest of the crew were great in the 2nd half, holding Jared Allen and the Vikings without a sack for the 3rd straight game.
Fantastic day for the rookie. Broke up two passes and intercepted another. Teams are going to start looking elsewhere.
Defensive Line, Jerod Mayo, Brandon Tate
Pregame Favre hype – Enough already. The amount of coverage Favre gets per game borders on the ridiculous. Overshadowed the Moss return to New England story.
Only one goat this week, both sides played well.
Vikings pass rush – no sacks ton. only 6 on season, down from 48 last year.
No goats here!
Even our favorite whipping boy, Jake Ingram, had a great night. We won't throw anyone under the bus today. Good win for the Patriots.
