As noted earlier here (link) the New England Patriots have agreed to terms with free agent offensive lineman Jamey Richard. Terms of the deal were not available.
The 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman was a seventh round pick by the
Indianapolis Colts in the 2008 NFL Draft. The former
University of Buffalo player is a local product from Weston, CT.
As an OG/C Richard has the versatility to play multiple positions along
the offensive line, a trait teams like the Patriots put a priority on.
He has appeared in 48 games with 11 starts in his four year career.
Richard was one of three offensive linemen the Patriots brought in for
a visit earlier in the week.
