ANALYSIS: With Gronk outt and Sudfeld released (Claimed by Jets), the Patriots are very thin at the TE positoin.  Matthew Mulligan will fill in for regular duties accompanying Michael Hoomanawanui. Expect FB James Devlin to see some action as a potential check-down option for Brady.

With Steven Ridley sidelined, LeGarrette Blount and Brandon Bolden will get more carries than usual.  Blount has the power to break though arm tackles at the point of  attack.  Bolden  has the speed to get to the outside. Both traits will be crucial for a Patriots team that has had troubles running against stout run defenses.  Cincinnati has one of the better front seven defenses in the league (11th vs the run,  10th in scoring allowed.)

Amendola's return to the lineup should allow the Patriots to run more multiple receiver sets.  Edelman will most likely see his targets decline, but could participate in more trick plays the team has run the past including end arounds.
