Head coach Bobby Petrino welcomed newcomers and a few veterans to the practice fields at the U of L football complex at 8:50 this morning.

Following the two-hour session, two of the morning's notable performers - Reggie Bonnafon and James Sample - met with the media to discuss their first day practicing as a Cardinal.

Bonnafon, a four-star quarterback from Louisville Trinity, has added a noticeable amount of muscle. After playing at 175 pounds as a high school senior, the 6-foot-3 Bonnafon weighed in at 209 pounds on Tuesday morning.
