Game Balls & Goats: Pats - Eagles

Who did well and Who Didn't. We rate the team's performance

The New England Patriots 42-35 victory over the Phiuladelphia Eagles was a win, but how did the team do overall? We take a look at the tape to give you our Game Balls (Good things) and Goats (Not good) from the team's latest matchup.

GAME BALLS

1)  Tom Brady -  After an early setback Brady settled into his normal rythm

2)  WR Brian Tyms - three receptions for 29 yards and a TD. Although he wasn't the only WR to catch a TD, his reception was Randy Moss-esque ... as evidenced by  his TD celebration.

3)  Patriots Offense -  The offense amassed 476 total net yards.  That's a pretty solid outing

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
RB Jonas Gray (12 runs for 98 yards), Roy Finch (7 runs for 37 yards and a TD, 2 receptions for 37 yards), Ryan Mallett (7/11 for 92 yards and a TD with no INTs).

GOATS

1)  Patriots Secondary --  Eagles QBs went 28 of 34 for 330 yards 4 TDs and 2 INTs.  Their combined QB rating of 121 spells trouble if the Patriots had this game in the regular season.

2)  Stevan Ridley -- Ball  security continues to be an issue for the New England back.  If he cannot prove he's up to the challenge he may land in the doghouse again

3)  Penalties -- sloppy play from the team resulted in

DISHONORABLE MENTIONS:
