NFL Competition Committee Approves Seven Rule Proposals

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport breaks down the seven proposed rule changes that were passed by the NFL Competition Committee on Tuesday.

Every year the NFL Competition Committee gets together and puts in new rules and also adjusts ones that may be confusing. Last year we saw the extended extra point get a one year trial, and it made a huge difference in games, including Stephen Gostkowski's miss in the AFC Championship. The Competition Committee decided to make that rule permanent, so put your seat belts on because the huge misses are going to continue.

Ian Rapoport discusses other rule changes, including the horsecollar covering more area, two personal fouls leading to ejection, and four more that should have an effect on the 2016 season.
