NFL Teams " Does Size Really Matter ? "

Florida and Notre Dame are the schools with the most players on NFL on 2003 rosters, with 40 each. Florida, Florida State and Notre Dame tied for the most a year ago with 39 each. Florida State is third this year with 37, followed by Georgia, Miami and Tennessee, who all have 36. Texas A&M (33), Michigan (31), Ohio State (29), and Nebraska and Penn State with 28 round out the top of the list of colleges with NFL players. A total of 255 colleges were represented on Kickoff Weekend rosters.

2003 rosters, there were 321 players weighing at least 300 pounds. The majority of this year's 300-pounders (232 of 321, 72 percent) play on the offensive line.

The Oakland Raiders have the NFL's heaviest contingent of offensive linemen (averaging 322.8 pounds per man),  Chicago Bears have the NFL's heaviest player – tackle Aaron Gibson (390).
