Patriots Are Super Once AGAIN!

New England place kicker missed his first two field goals but made the third as the Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers 32-29.

Tom Brady and Adam Vinatieri have been down this road before. Their experience proved too much for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Super Bowl XXXVIII.

Brady was voted the Super Bowl MVP for the second time in three years. His precision passing and three touchdowns proved once and for all that Brady has arrived as an elite NFL quarterback.

The Patriots concluded the 2003 season by winning 15 staright games. In the modern era of free agency, salary cap and unloyal players, the Patriots can make a case that what they've done this season matches the 1972 Miami Dolphins run of a perfect season.

New England is also in the middle of a modern era NFL dynasty. With two Super Bowl wins in the last three years, they look to be in a groove that could rival the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 70's and 80's.

As for this game, New England did everything they could to knock out the Panthers but Carolina fought back and played a brilliant fourth quarter as they tied the score at 29-29 with one minute to go.

But after an errant kick-off that gave the Patriots the ball at the 40-yard line, Brady and company set up the game winner for Vinatieri.
