Panthers Exact Revenge

VCR not working properly? Wondering why this game didn't have the same clutch FG as time ran down? Well, they say, sequels are rarely as good as the original, and last nights game didn't do anything to dispel that belief.

That is of course, if you're a Patriots fan.

While it may not have contained the same drama as the game titled SUPERBOWL, it was one heck of a game for a preseason matchup. The Carolina Panthers, came out on top of the New England Patriots this time around. That is of course if you stayed tuned to the second half where 2nd and 3rd stringers took control of the outcome.

Watching a team driving for the winning score in the fourth quarter, playing against a 3rd string defense with guys who probably won't be on the roster in a couple weeks might not have the same appeal as the Big Game. It still managed to hold your interest until the late hours. The battle was elevated as the Panthers made this game a personal quest for a small slice of revenge from the stinging just a few short months ago.

Here are some stats and reviews on last nights matchup, along with some photos of the action.
