While Mike Shanahan's Broncos never looked like they were ready to play, the Colts had the aura of victor from the very first drive. The outcome of this game sets the stage for the rest of the playoffs in the AFC.

The victory by the Colts (#3 seed) means that the New York Jets (#5 seed) victory over the San Diego Chargers (#4 seed) in OT on Saturday will send Peyton, Harrison, James and Clark to the chilly turf New England.

New England has become the burial ground for Colts Super Bowl aspirations as of late. The Patriots last played the Colts in the postseason defeating them in the AFC Championship game 24-14 in what can only be described as the undoing of Peyton Manning.

The Patriots also played the Colts in the regular season opener defeating them 27-24 on September 9th, 2004.
