The Newswire has news of Adam Vinatieri's going away party in Boston last night. Vinatieri sat down with the Boston Herald to talk about the decision to move to Indianapolis. In the interview Vinatieri explains that Indianapolis offered him what he felt was fair, and that the opportunity to kick in a Dome was also a draw for him.
The Patriots announced the re-signing of exclusive rights free agent Randall Gay. The Patriots signed Gay as an undrafted rookie free agent out of LSU. He was placed on I/R last season, after suffering a nagging leg injury. The Official Site has an announcement on Gay's deal.
