- Bill Belichick, head coach of the New England Patriots fielded some touchy questions as reported by the Boston Globe regarding kicker Adam Vinatieri. Belichick offered little insight as to the cause for Vinatieri's signing with the Indianapolis Colts, but did mention that he wasn't overly concerned with the prospect of finding a suitable replacement. Belichick summed up the team's philosophy

"We'll draft players at any position that we think can be competitive for a spot on this roster…That's across the board," Belichick said. "It doesn't matter what position they're at."

- Is it possible that the Houston Texans would not take Reggie Bush as their number one pick? ESPN News reports that the New York Jets invited Bush to an impromptu workout following their scheduled meeting with Bush in Los Angeles.
