Corey Dillon Headed To Buffalo

Interest in Corey Dillon is heating up. It looks like the veteran running back isn't ready to call it a career just yet.'s Adam Caplan reported today that free agent RB Corey Dillon will be visiting with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

Dillon, 32, was released by the New England Patriots upon his request at the beginning of free agency. The 10-year veteran, who reportedly wanted to retire, actually wanted an opportunity to continue his career as a feature back. First reported by, Dillon's decision to leave New England wasn't to hang up his cleats; rather, it was to explore other opportunities to be a feature back.

The Bills are looking to move running back Willis McGahee and have lined up potential trade partners. While they are exploring their options with McGahee, Buffalo has been looking to find a new back to replace him. Buffalo has already expressed interest in free agent Chris Brown.

As reported previously, Dillon has also drawn interest from the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens.

It's starting to look like Dillon will have a chance to add to his career rushing record as the 14th all time career rushing leader in NFL history.
