Dillon To Make First Official Visit Next Week

Corey Dillon may have found the situation he's looking for in the AFC South. Adam Caplan reports that Dillon has a visit planned for next week, and it's not to Buffalo.

Corey Dillon has been a highly productive back over the ten seasons he's been in the league, but when the Patriots granted his request for release to find another team, the offers didn't exactly come pouring in. Dillon heard from the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles early on, but other teams took a wait-and-see approach. A planned visit to Buffalo was postponed indefinitely, while reports swirled that Dillon was considering retirement

All that has changed. Dillon found a suitor who is serious about acquiring his services for the 2007 season -- the Tennessee Titans.

Adam Caplan, senior NFL reporter for Scout.com, reports that Dillon will be making his first official visit of free agency next week to the Titans. Tennessee is in the market for another big back, and Dillon could be just the answer they need to build a solid ground game to take some pressure off their sophomore quarterback Vince Young.

It will be Dillon's first official visit to any team.
