Rough Day at Pro Player

The Dolphins beat the Patriots through the air while their defense stymied Tom Brady's aerial attack today in Miami. The final was 26-13 Dolphins, but the impact will be felt in New England until the Patriots have a chance for revenge.

With their defense harrassing Tom Brady all afternoon, the Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots today by a score of 26-13. Brady was sacked three times while the Dolphins answered on the ground and through the air to take first place from the Pats.

While the Patriots were able to contain Ricky Williams, the Dolphins passing attack made up for his reduction in running yards. Jay Fiedler ran for a ten-yard touchdown and also threw one to Chris Chambers in the first half to allow the Dolphins to jump out to a 13-0 lead by halftime.

A Tom Brady pass to David Patten brought th Patriots within 10, but Fiedler answered with a 74-yard drive which extended the Dolphins lead to 23-6.
