Inactive Analysis:

The Dolphins already have issues on defense. Losing Holiday for this game, along with Tillman their safety does not bode well. The Patriots seem to have no trouble finding weaknesses of their opponents. This week the Dolphins' secondary is going to feel the heat. As noted in the Behind Enemy Lines analysis with Dolphins insider Alain Poupart, the defense has been a big disappointment for Miami this year.

Mitchell and Alexander will be missed on special teams for the Patriots who have already lost other contributors on the unit. Expect Kyle Eckel and some of the reserves to see more action on special teams. Some of the starters will also get the call, which is not unusual for this team.

With Watson out, Marcellus Rivers will see more action at tight end. Kyle Brady will also see more passes from Tom Brady after getting his first touchdown last week. Kyle Brady, who has drawn praise from opponents for his blocking, has a good set of hands which can help New England in the passing game.

Sammy Morris was hurt against Dallas last week. It's likely Morris will miss a number of games while he recovers. Laurence Maroney will get the nod along with Kevein Faulk and Heath Evans.

On defense for the Patriots, the absenbce of Mike Wright means that Santonio Thomas will see more action. Thomas who has been inactive the past three weeks, is a significant contributor on special team's field goal protectoin. he already has a blocked kick to his credit this season.
