Undrafted rookie TE Scott Sicko (New Hampshire) isn't willing to take any offers to tryout for a team by signing a free agent deal. Sicko felt he should have been drafted, and because that didn't happen, he's not interested in playing football according to a report in the Albany Times-Union.
"If I were to be drafted I would have had more confidence of a much longer career in the NFL," Sicko said according to the report. "The thing that will make me the happiest now and in the long run is to pursue my education."
Aaron Wilson of National Football Post caught up with Sicko's agent J.R. Rickert to confirm the report.
"There's no going back for Scott," Rickert told National Football Post. "He's not going to change his mind. When he makes a decision, it's final. He's firm on what he's planning to do."
Sicko visited the Jacksonville Jaguars, and had a tryout with both the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. He reportedly received post draft offers from the Jaguars, New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys.
