Bush Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

Michael Bush was charged early Saturday morning for driving while under the influence. The free-agent-to-be was arrested near his hometown of Louisville, Ky.

Running back Michael Bush was arrested and charged early Saturday morning for driving while intoxicated in Clarksville, Ind., according to multiple reports.

Bush was arrested at around 4:30 a.m. in Jeffersonville, according to Clark County police. He was booked approximately thirty minutes later into the Clark County Jail on an OWI ("operating while under the influence").

Jeffersonville is less than three miles north of Louisville, Ky., Bush's hometown. He also played collegiately at the University of Louisville from 2003-05.

Depending on whether or not the league and the player's association reach a new collective bargaining agreement, Bush is set to become a free agent this offseason.

Bush is coming off the most successful season of his four-year career. In 2010, Bush had career-high's in rushing attempts (158), rushing yards (655), receiving yards (194), and rushing touchdowns (8).

The team has declined to comment on the situation.
